11/27/13 Happy Thanksgiving Camden and Bowdoin!!! Do you remember the last Thanksgiving that we
were together?? I believe it was 2005
and your mother let you come and celebrate Thanksgiving when I was
staying/living with my friend and department head, Jill McEwen and her family. I thought your mother was finally being nice
letting you see me and spend time with me over the holidays like she was
supposed to do according to the law and the divorce decree. Little did I know that she had no choice but
to let you spend time with me that Thanksgiving weekend because she was in
JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn’t know this at
the time my sons. Your mother has an
extensive criminal record in numerous states and at least three counties in
Florida that I know of: Hernando, Orange
and Pasco. I had fun with you that
Thanksgiving that we were together at Jill’s house. I will never forget playing with you both
outside and lifting you up to look over a fence. I lifted Bowdoin up easily for he was so
young and light. When I lifted you up
Camden and we walk toward and along the fence, I lost my balance and fell with
you. I made sure that you landed on me
so you wouldn’t get hurt. I will never
forget what you said and did after my fall.
Camden you said “I am so sorry Daddy!!!
Are you alright Dad….. are you hurt??”
I said don’t be silly Cam Man you have no reason to say that you are
sorry for anything. I am fine. And then you helped me get up and you were
only 6 at the time. You told Bowdoin to
come over and help and you grabbed my arm and pulled me up. Even then you were so strong!! Thank you for this memory My Sons! I hope and pray that you have a great
Thanksgiving and know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers ALWAYS! Love, Dad
