I wish things were different too

Camden when you said "I wish thinnt . there was never a chance for you to see me grow up or come home from school or play football and im just thinking about it alot and how unfair things have been." I know exactly what you mean. I totally wish that things could have been different. As you know your mother refused to let me be a part of your life or Bowdoin's life.

If your mother could have kept her legs closed, we probably wouldn't have gotten divorced, but she couldn't. After the accident and divorce, Linda told everybody including you, that I died. After you saw me in the nursing home where your mother put me to isolate me from you and hope that I would die, I tried to be a part of your lives, but Linda refused to live up to and follow the divorce decree. She never let me talk to you or see you guys.

After finally getting out of the nursing home, I tried for 6 years to see you both and be part of your lives but she wouldn't let me. Basically all she ever did was lie to me non stop. She has an extensive criminal record in Florida and other states under different names. She has been married and divorced 4 times. After dealing with all her bullshit for so long, I decided to move back to Maine to get better healthcare and be happy going fishing for salmon and trout.

Camden please know that I wish I could have seen you grow up and be a part of your life! Hopefully one day we will be much closer for you will always be my son! I love you!
